Photo of the day March12, 2010 Nikon D700
The preparation of the cuccuddati, the traditional Sicilian St. Joseph bread. These are highly intricately decorated breads in various shapes that after being baked are blessed and then given out. In Sicily, St. Joseph Day was a very important holy day. Here in Queens, NYC, the traditions are still being observed.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
