The amphitheater in Segesta has been around for more that 2500 years and it's still being used for theatrical and musical events. I photographed it in afternoon light when the color temperature is warm and interesting. The camera was the Lumix GX1.
The area is full of archeological sites that are being slowly dug up. Italy has so much archeology that it' almost impossible to comprehend.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
