I was doing a photo reportage for Migration Today magazine about the very lively, engaged and thriving Haitian community in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Shot with the Leica M-4, the 35mm Summichron on Tri-X pushed to 800 and developed in D-76 1:1 dilution. Naturally this was hand held without flash or in available light according to the jargon.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
