Although I have decried the move toward tourism and it's inevitable concomitant artificiality, there are still real people here in Sicily who are still carrying the torch of authenticity. These images are of old carters with their traditional Sicilian carts that were on parade on occasion of the town's feast.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
