Archival shots

The Bully Hill winery was started by an heir to the Taylor wine family which after selling the business no one could use the name. The Bully Hill winery was an attempt at creating better tasting wines imitating the vinifera grape wines but using hybrid grapes able to withstand the harsh climates of the inger Lakes regioof New York state. This preceded the Long Island wineries boom whose wine makers were able to use vinifera  types due to  the unique micro climate on Long Island's forks.
These photos date from 1973 when we took a trip to this interesting region.
