The Panasonic LX 3

The Panasinic LX 3 with a Summicron lens was, despite it's small sensor, a truly wonderful camera. I gave it to my daughter who still uses it. I then got the LX 7 with a longer zoom range and also wonderful but I gave it to my son. What can I say  that's the way it goes. These  backyard images were all shot with the LX  3.

These photos were sent to me by my wife Marcy who captured them with the G-9 Not too shabby. Actually they are great. This large bird seems to appear in our neighborhood in Queens at this time every year. It's actually somewhat scary and a danger to small animals. The photo with the squirrel is very telling. Nice job, Marcy.
