In north western Sicily just west of Castellammare lies the Riserva lo Zingaro. This is a natural reserve that preserves the coast line in it's natural pristine condition. It's a hard hike and there are small inlets with small beaches from which to swim. It's absolutely fantastic. The water is super clean.
