Tribute to Japan / Nikon D-200
There are no words that can express the sorrow that I feel for the people of Japan. We photographers, especially, are indebted to the creativity of the Japanese. Without them we would be shooting either with super expensive and super conservative German cameras or with the plasticky stuff that the US produced. This image shot at the Japanese Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is only a small token of appreciation that I have for such great people. The food isn't bad either. I am sure that Japan will rebuild and come out of this nightmare stronger than ever.
BTW, the lens was another small Japanese masterpiece, the 35-135 F3.5-4.5 Nikkor.
