The lure of the sea

I am fascinated by the sea. I was born where I could hear the stormy sea at night and wherever I looked, I saw the sea.  This is why I love New York, it's surrounded by the sea. These are very early digital images dating from the fall of 2001 and are shot with the Fuji S1-Pro whose puny 3.3 mega pixels could capture magical images. Alas, the body was really bad and the focusing hard so it was not really suited for heavy professional work. But it was a really great camera whose color rendition reminds one of Kodachrome II.
The photos were shot on Long Island's North Fork
