Greenport, Long Island

This North Fork town is practically at the end of the wonderful wine country that has raised some eyebrows and has caused some discomfort to wine snobs. I just love many of it's wines and I champion the effort. The fact that I reside on the same island that produces such fine wines gives me the chills. Just like in Sicily? The weather is better in Sicily and the growing season is 24 month long. But I must compromise. These are some early digital images shot with the Fuji S-1 Pro, my first serious digital camera.
