Guidaloca

I love Sicily in the winter when everything is green and lush and the ground is covered with wild flowers. It's a time of very few tourists and the  beaches are great for taking long strolls.
This is the beach named Guidaloca a few kilometers west of Castellammare. Unlike the main beach, the Plaja, it kept the Spanish name, that is pure sand, Guidaloca has pebbles like the beaches in the Riviera.  These photos were shot in late afternoon to take advantage of the magical light at that time.
