This young guitar player is a child sponsored by the Walter K. Hoerning Fund, a non profit organization that offers enrichment programs to inner city children. These shots were made at a recent awards ceremony where the participants showed what they had accomplished. The camera was the Canon 1D-III with the Canon 24-104 F4 L
lens that I probably used for the last time because it is now on
permanent to my dear daughter. I will not see it again. Oh, well...At
any rate, I volunteer my services to the fund and my wife is a board
member, do I have a choice? Ah..ah.

There was something right about the skin tones of the D 1-X. Only the Fuji S2-Pro did better. The Nikkor 35-135 F 3.5-4.5 was used.
