Again it's Venice; April 2008. Taken with a Canon 5D and the lowly 24-85 3.5-45.
Mot too shabby for a simple EF lens. Ho what a cheap lens can do. On vacation I like to travel light and leave my expensive L lenses at home. For jobs, it's another matter.

    It's called being at the right place at the right time. Really, photo is about capturing very fleeting moments.

These photos were sent to me by my wife Marcy who captured them with the G-9 Not too shabby. Actually they are great. This large bird seems to appear in our neighborhood in Queens at this time every year. It's actually somewhat scary and a danger to small animals. The photo with the squirrel is very telling. Nice job, Marcy.
